1. creation

The God of the Bible is the sovereign Creator of all that was, is and will be. 

2.  God’s Plan for Redemption

God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, to the earth. Christ was the perfect sacrifice in His death on the cross. He defeated the power of death and hell when He rose form the tomb on the third day. He ascended from the earth into heaven, where He now reigns at the right hand of God the Father.

3.  The prominence of the church

Jesus Christ is the one and only Head of the church. 
–Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 5:23

4.  The person of god, distinct and unified

The eternal God reveals Himself to us: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, 
forming the Trinity the Triune Godhead.

5.  the bible

The Bible in its original manuscripts is the inerrant, infallible Word of God.
It is written by men divinely inspired and is the record of God’s revelation of Himself to man. 
–2 Timothy 3:15, 17; Joshua 1:8; Matthew 5:17-18

6.  original sin and grace

We believe that man was created by the special act of God, in His own image, and is the crowning work of His creation. 
In the beginning, man was innocent of sin and was endowed by his Creator with freedom of choice. 
By his free choice, man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. 
Only the grace of God can enable man to fulfill the creative purpose of God.

7.  the way of the resurrection

The death and resurrection of Christ provided for man to be reconciled to God through a true faith in Jesus Christ. 
Faith in Christ is the only way to salvation.

8.  the universal church

The universal church consists of all persons who have been reconciled, through saving faith, to God by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The local church is an assembly of believers that is to function in accordance with principles set forth in the New Testament. It is a body of believers that form a community of faith in all aspects of life. The local church must be relevant to current society.

9.  man and woman

God created Adam & Eve as male and female, with the purpose of man and woman coming into a covenantal marriage relationship, characterized by a oneness in the eyes of God the Father.  Man and woman are the two genders created by God, and gender determination is made by God according to the biological and physiological makeup of a child upon the creative process that begins at conception. 

Marriage is seen by God as a permanent relationship characterized by an enduring faithfulness and love that is likened to the love that Christ has for the Church.  The marital relationship between man and woman is intended for procreation of children as a part of the emotional and physical intimacy of the relationship. 

The marriage relationship between male and female is the building block for society as God intends it.  Any marital or family structure that falls outside of this Biblical model is contrary to God’s plan and will for society.  God’s Word also endorses singlehood for those who choose to live in the bounds of God’s standards of purity.  Genesis 1:27-28; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:21-33; Romans 1:24-32; 1 Corin. 7:7-9
