What is this program?
Youth Working For Youth is a program that is designed to help parents financially ensure
their student will be able to attend various events that Integrity Student Ministry is a part
of. The program will also help members of Integrity Church to do the things they cannot
do.
Why is this program important?
Finances can be burdensome and stressful. The importance of the program is to help
minimize the stress, and maximize the relief, not having to worry about your student being
able to attend events throughout the year.
How will the program operate?
We will have a sign up sheet for Integrity members to be able to request help from students
for tasks that they need assistance with. We then will have a list of willing student
participates, and assign one or more to do each task. Once the task is complete, the
student(s) that completed the task will receive a donation from the person who requested
for the work to be done. This will be applied to the student(s) account that ISM will update.
At the time of the event, the money accrued will be applied to students that participate in
the program.
Testimonials:
Youth Working for Youth is an amazing opportunity for youth to get hands on experience
supporting their local community. The youth that worked with me completed so many
projects around the house that I would never be able to complete alone. They were prompt,
hardworking, followed directions, asked questions, respectful, and a positive role model for
other youth working to raise money for camp they wanted to attend. Their parents were
supportive and guided them as needed and you could tell had instilled great work ethic and
social skills in them. -Evelyn Marie
The best part was getting to meet and know the students. That being said we had 5 kids,
from 9-3 on a Saturday that helped pressure wash a large driveway, a large trek deck, and
a patio. It would have taken us 3-4 days by ourselves. The value was there. They were all
very hardworking with great attitudes. Looking forward to using them again! -Bob and
Rusty Chatham
The students put seed in for our garden that is almost impossible for me to do. They did a
great job; they went after whatever I asked them to do with a serious desire to do a good
job. Not only was I pleased with the work I would give a job reference to any of the ladies
that came and worked. -John Ediger
