I’m writing with a bit of sad news. Pastor Ted Wilkins, due to health reasons, has decided to leave his position as Care Pastor role with Integrity.  Ted has had real impact in the past couple of years with Integrity.  He has been very faithful in caring for Sr. Adults as well as other folks of different age groups. Ted is a fantastic teacher, a very responsive pastor, an eloquent writer, and an all-round great guy. He and I have been friends for going on 35 years. Ted is one of the most authentic folks I know, and no matter his own personal situation, his first point of focus is how he can bring joy and laughter – and comfort – to those around him. He and wife Pam, daughter Jennifer and son Matt have always been about building the Kingdom of God first.

We are also proud of Jennifer and son-in-law, Damson Huon, as missionaries to Cambodia.  I know that Pastor Ted and wife Pam will appreciate continued prayers and support for them.  You can go to https://www.cambodiavillageoutreach.org/ to donate to the work of the Huons.

A bit of good news – Pastor Ted will be continuing to write his daily devotionals for the Integrity Church family.  If you have not yet begun receiving these early morning bits of inspiration, you can email Pastor Ted at tedjwilkins@hotmail.com, with ‘Devotionals’ in the subject line and he will be happy to add you to the mailing list for the daily devotionals.

As Ted moves away from this role, our leadership team has met to work on continuity for his work.  While Ted will be continuing to do the daily devotionals, Jamie Clapp, one of Integrity’s elders who is an experienced and talented Bible teacher, will begin leading the Thursday 11am Bible Study that Pastor Ted started.  We are also discussing how to best cover Pastor Ted’s pastoral care work.

Ted, thank you for a job well done, and for caring for our church family.  May God bless you as you continue to build His Kingdom.

Bud Wrenn
